The purpose of our return policy is to ensure you are satisfied with your purchases from The Magic Depot. The terms and conditions below apply to your order and protect the transaction.
If you are unhappy with a returnable item for any reason, please return it within thirty days from the shipped date for an exchange or credit of the purchase price less shipping, tax, and restocking fee (if applicable).
Refunds, store credits, and exchanges are given at our discretion after we've evaluated your return. Refunds are issued once a month by check or money order in U.S. currency.
Request an RMA number:
Incoming packages without Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) numbers are returned to sender. To request an RMA number, simply email us
with the details of your return. Provide as much information as possible and we'll issue an RMA number for the returnable product.
Where to ship your return:
When you receive an RMA number, you'll also receive the address of where to send your return. Some items are returned directly to the manufacturer when 1) the manufacturer prefers to handle returns directly; 2) the return would be delayed by returning it to us; 3) the return requires replacement parts or manufacturer refurbishment.
Some items are non-returnable.
More than 95% of the products on this web site are returnable at little or no risk to the customer. However, some items cannot be returned, such as:
Bulk orders or special request items.
Free gifts and promotional items.
Custom items we make for you.
Items you customize for yourself.
Digital media provided via download.
Used items no longer resalable.
Items missing packaging, parts, or instructions.
Items specifically marked non-returnable.
Used items may not be returned for any reason. Items shipped uninsured may not be returned if damaged.
Up to 25% restocking fee applies to all returns!
We do not credit shipping charges, insurance, tax, customs charges, dropship fees, or return shipping fees. Restocking fees are calculated from the purchase price of the returned items, minus any discounts received. The restocking fee also applies to the retail price of any free products received with your order.

Merchandise should be unused, in its original packaging, and in sellable condition. We reserve the right to refuse, refund, exchange, or give a store credit for your return at our sole discretion.
Free shipping based on order total:
If your order qualified for free shipping and a return reduces your order total below qualification, the actual cost to ship your package is deducted from the store credit or refund prior to issue.
Free items based on order total:
If your order qualified for a free item and a return reduces your order total below qualification, our cost of the free item plus 10% is deducted from the refund or store credit prior to issue.
Extended Returns (up to 90 days):
We can extend our return policy for an additional fee. Items returned within 60 days may qualify for a return at 50% restocking fee and up to 75% restocking fee for items retuned after 90 days. Not all items will qualify. Your returnable item is not guaranteed returnable after 30 days. Contact us for details
Extended warranty agreements:
The Magic Depot offers extended service agreements on select merchandise. You may purchase an extended warranty within 1-year of your purchase when available. If you have an item needing such a warranty, even if you didn't purchase from The Magic Depot, contact us

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
May I purchase a DVD, watch it, and return it if I don't like the material?
Yes, minus shipping and restocking fees.
What if an item is broken in shipping?
Choose an insurable shipping option and insurance at checkout (Priority or faster). Without insurance, the post office will not replace any broken items and you will be out the money.
What if I don't get a response after requesting RMA?
It's possible we didn't receive your return request. However, it's most likely your email service provider blocked our response to you. Add @themagicdepot.com to your address book to fix the problem, and then resend your request.
Do you resell used merchandise?
We do not sell used merchandise as new. Products must be in resalable condition by demand of manufacturers to show the fault is a manufacturing defect and not customer abuse.
