A very clever "packet" trick with great patter about Sherlock Holmes. Great kicker ending. Very easy to do. Special printed poker size cards.
Seven cards are shown, six having a bust of Napoleon on both sides, and one with a bust of Napoleon on one side and a pearl on the other. The six Napoleon cards are placed in a row on the table; the pearl card exchanged for one of them with the pearl side downwards, and a spectator mixes them around. The magician then divines which of the bust cards has the pearl on the back. Five of the busts are turned over and the busts on the rear are seen to be all smashed to pieces.
The sixth card is turned over and there is the calling card of Sherlock Holmes. The spectator is suspicious of the extra card, but it is turned over to reveal the words, "Wrong Again Watson".
Eventually the pearl card is discovered in the envelope in which the cards were originally carried.
