THESE CARDS RULE!!!!!!!! – THENAT
A very nice addition to your standard run of Bike's. Very eye catching. I bought this along with the Red and Yellow Decks. A very good choice for something different. – Rashad
I just received my Black Deck and I must say it is gorgeous. I have had my share of different decks from Bicycle Master's to the Tally Ho Vipers. I don't think I have ever been so amazed with the appearance of these cards. The way the white sticks out from the black is quite a change. So are the extra gaff cards, and as previously commented you MUST BE A MAGICIAN to know these tricks or you can try and look around on the internet. One default to these cards is that the edges already so white marks out of the box, besides that phenomenal deck I plan on more of these and the red and yellow decks soon. – David Diaz
I also purchased "The black deck " along with it's sister decks (Red and Yellow) I like throwing a little color into the act when i can , it does get you noticed ,I am a Beginner and just starting out doing more cards and you usually hear "the guy with the Red (Yellow /black)deck whatever it adds a little more to the act ,for example for a Superbowl gig the people holding it werefrom Louisiana so the act had a voodoo theme to it so I used a Black tiger deck , and it just went so well with the theme . I guess people arent usedto seeing that much color on the face of a card that it just draws them to it .appearance wise they are beautiful cards , and yes most people think as I have been told it's a "trick " deck I usually let them go through it , my deck though it probably dosent happen a lot is my * of diamonds had a small blemish on it a little sliver oif white and a few spectators spent a few minutes inspecting the card looking for the gimmick ( anyway after a few tricks fortunatly not involving the 8 , it was forgot about) and passed their scrutiny , The king of hears and the King of clubs the blade on their swoprd is such a dark color that you can barely see them even up close , a few spectators thought i was going to do a trick where i make the blades appear ( though i dont think there is a gaff deck for this deck yet?!?) there is also a gimmick on the box , which is not totally examinable (the box i mean lol) i know the need for marketing but their logo is on the bottom of the box and the gimmick on the inside flaps maybe they could be reversed?!? many people may ask Black tiger over "the black deck" or vice versa, but i wouldn't choose one over the other they are both within the same price range both high quality cards , and both have a striking black face , the only difference is personal prefferrence ,they have a slightly different flavor between the two as " The Black deck's" court cards are in color "the black deck also comes with bonus cards as does it's sister decks (Each color deck have different Gaffs) as far as the boxes goes even though i am not fond of the color yellow , thats the box that will scream look at me without taking the cards out yet , and "the Black deck " i have regular white faced bicycle cards with the black backs a it is very close to the back of the "the black deck " so i started carrying it in that box, you can also use that deck for some color changes as the backs are very similar the only real difference in the back of the regular deck is a thin white line within border on the back, its only blaringly obvious if you put down a card from each deck side by side i have done this messing with my freinds and they dont always notice it , but i still wouldnt recommend it at all during a performance – Joey Rodriguez
I just purchased this deck (The Black Deck) along with its two sister decks (The Red Deck and The Yellow Deck). I absolutly love these three decks.
As for the included gaff cards - most of the routines mentioned can be found in a few books on card magic - a quick search on the web will help you find the resource you need for the various tricks.
You can just contact Magic Makers, Inc. (the company that produces these decks). That's what I did - I wrote them a very polite email letting them know that I had purchased the three decks from The Magic Depot and gave them some details about my purchase (to prove I actually did make the purchase) and asked if they had any information on where I could obtain routines pertaining to the gaff cards. Within 24 hours they sent me three PDF files outlining the hidden secrets for each of these decks.
Whether you're a beginner or an expert - these card has flair and pinash! And information regarding the "special" (gaff) cards are readily available from the product designers. – Caine Hörr
