I've always found the Deland deck to be the best for stripped and marked card tricks. A great price & a good quality deck.

I am writing this based in audience reaction more than on the quality of the cards. I recently discovered that Si Stebbins is a great system to work with a co-protagonist who acts as a medium (it seems that a two people act is more entertaining than a one person act), and the Deland's deck is a great tool for psychic magic, as the marks are very easy to read and I can explain the tricks using the Stebbins stack to a co-protagonist in a very short time (and she can focus on acting, not in methods). I definitely like the decks made in Belgium, but I confirmed all the remaining decks are made in Taiwan. However this thing is really a great tool to work in a two person psychic act using cards! I'll be buying more once my decks made in Taiwan get some use and I should discard them. After all, we must do what the audience likes and not necesarily only what we like. I don't like the cards, but the results, possible uses and simplicity of using this deck, that reduces the training time of the "medium" really makes this deck an awesome investment, comparable only to a nail writer. I'm impressed.

I agree with Thomas' review for the deck manufactured in Belgium. I bought five of these decks and got one of the excellent decks made in Europe. The other four were cheaply made decks manufactured in Taiwan. If you can get the Deland's or Eureka decks manufactured in Belgium, you can be sure you are getting the very best quality. Those are really great decks, although my Deland's deck made in Belgium is not stripped. But it is still a great ivory finish deck, comparable to an Aviator, Heraclio Fournier or B.P. Grimaud deck. I think Thomas received one of the Eureka decks made in Asia, and this is why he advises you not to purchase the Eureka deck. I agree with this warning too. When I bought my first Eureka, it was a linen finish deck made in Belgium, and I was simply delighted to have that deck. I ordered five or four more but, this time, I received the cheap Asian decks and I never ordered an Eureka deck again. I think I will simply my mark my own stripped bicycle decks, as it seems most companies that produce these decks are buying from Asian manufacturers that make cards that would never match the European or American quality standards.

This is the finest marked deck for magic in the under $15 price range. Also, I believe this is the only lower priced one that comes in poker size cards. If you are looking for a MARKED STRIPPER deck then I believe this is your ONLY choice, and that includes the high price products. Not the quality of Bicycle, but close. Stay away from the similar priced EUREKA DECK.
