The Original Eight Card Brainwave! Your spectator is given a free choice from eight cards and the chosen card is tabled face up. The remaining cards are turned over to show all blue backs. The spectator turns over their card and it's the only one with a differant color back! Easy to do. Complete instructions provided! Takes about five minutes to learn; very easy to perform!

I hated this trick at first. If you use the directions provided, it is messy with a small payoff and high risk. I then googled and read up in forcing cards. Simplu use a criss cut or number count to force the different colored card. yOU HASVE TO GAVE CARDS FACE UP of course for the surprise ending. You could just have 2 blue cards with a red all face up and force the red from the three or vice versa.

Frankly speaking, 8 Card Brainwave is just a set of 8 cards. The real effect is in performing the trick. I am giving 3 stars for the performance technique. Once you know it, you dont need these 8 cards. You can use any 8 cards of alternate colors (4+4) and perform the trick.

This is 5.95 dollar to much. There are better versions on the market than this one!!!! And you just pay for non gimmick bycicle cards.

Very nice effect but the instructions were not very clear. I figured out what they meant for me to do after a few rereads. After that though it is not hard to do. In fact you are not buying any gimmicked cards or anything special, you just get 8 normal cards from two different decks. What you are buying is the method which is why I felt that the instructions should have been written up a lot better. But the price is pretty good and like I said the effect is very nice so I think it is worth buying. It is a nice trick to carry around for those times you need to do a little magic quick.
