This is pretty terrific. It works well and is a lot of fun. The only trouble is that I am afraid it will break soon. Keeping it in my pocket, the ring part has already bent a bit, and the area the sparks come out has also bent. Still works though.

Be very careful walking around with this in your pocket as the screw can come lose and if you lose it you are out of luck. It doesn't work without the screw. That happened to me.

This is just fun to play with! Sparks from anywhere! You can set it off at a moments notice. Fake being shocked opening a door! Very fun and very effective. Flints come loose sometimes so keep track or buy some more! Zippo lighter flints fit perfectly!

For being so simple, this device is sooo much fun. Thank God (or rock) for Penn Jillette. Not only is he one of my idols, but he's the reason I bought a Funken Ring. I can't tell you how much fun this thing is; you need to see it for yourself. The ONLY problem I've had with it is that the flint is usually too tight or not tight enough. If it's too tight, it simply won't fire. If it's too loose, it won't spark. After using it several times, though, I've learned how to tell when it's too loose or too tight, and I havn't had it not work properly since then. I havn't left the house without carrying it in my pocket since it arrived. VERY fun, and, as Mr. Jillette said, it is the best 10 dollars you will ever spend.
