What else can I say? The other reviewers are right. These inexpensive and simple things are awesome on stage, at the table or standing in close up conditions, both in a planned act or when performing informally, surrounded by spectators, in conditions you could not perform a cups and balls routine, for example. Only cards or coins are so versatile. But, unlike cards or coins, it takes relatively little practice to have the satisfaction of being able to perform effective sleight of hand magic with sponge balls. So expect to get very good at this, feel comfortable and confident with this prop, and rely on it when you need sure-fire, impressive magic. Finally, many cups and balls, billiard ball and coin techniques and principles are applicable to sponge balls. But they are much easier, because sponge balls are compressible, noiseless and easier to grip, even if you have very dry skin or impaired movement in your hands. For this reason, even if your ultimate goal is not performing with sponge balls, using them will allow you to acquire skills that will make easier for you to learn the same manipulations with the other props.

It is one of the greatest props you can have.The spongeballs are a lot softer,easier to squeeze, and smaller than the ones in the spongeball toolbox with dvd by gosh .these spongeballs are some of the greatest props used by magicians,It is a must to do magic.happening in the magician`s hand is spectacular!

What can I say about this inexpensive but powerful prop? Except that with some dedication and practice you can make wonderful magic with them. I carry four of them everytime I leave the house. (Just a note, my personal preference are the 2" super soft variety. Your miles may vary.) You need impromptu magic? Pull out a spongeball. Want to create magic in your spectators hands? Pull out a spongeball. There are many routines out there and those are only limited by your own imagination. I'll close by saying this. I've spent hundreds of dollars on magic, dvds and whatnot, but my most reliable prop and magic I do is my spongeball routine.
